Getting Started - The client meets with the artist, preferably in the space to be painted,
where concepts and ideas are discussed. These ideas will be enhanced by Kristen's intuitive response to the space and the client. Artist and client
will discuss budget at this time.
What and Where?
- Anything imaginable! Landscapes, animals, decorative designs, textural and architectural modeling, and more. Murals are wonderful in
office buildings, professional offices, entryways, children's rooms, kitchens, bathrooms or any space open and unoccupied by imposing wall
decorations. They bring interest and warmth to any environment and can be incorporated with Kristen Muench's 3-dimensional sculptures or existing architectural details.
How it's done
- Kristen paints with low-odor washable acrylic enamels that can be sealed if necessary. The client is responsible for preparing the space by cleaning the walls and
baseboards, moving furniture, and providing a fresh coat of wall paint if necessary. The client is welcome to view the process at any time and discuss ideas with the
artist during the creation of the mural.
Costs
- are determined by time devoted to painting and preparation, materials and travel expenses. Generally, a minimum of 24 hours will be devoted to a mural, some will take considerably longer.
