This 3-D installation was inspired and created as a maintenance-free substitution for the office's defunct salt-water aquarium. Given free reign to design and
execute anything, the installation was a delightful surprise and a thing of wonder for Dr. Shochat and the entire office staff.
The background is a painted mural overlayed with eight large multi-media reef structures and seven independently attached fish. It also
includes two small separate animal creatures that the staff can move around and "play" with. Many of the reef and creatures extend more than a foot away from the wall.
The sculptured elements were created over a period of a year. The mural with details and installation was completed in a weekend - ready
for the Monday morning surprise!
The Wellness Center's clients and customers really enjoy this intriguing and complicated installation. It is always fresh and alive!
